RUSTIC+ELEGANCE: PRONTO SOCORRO DO VIDRIO

This curious glass and wood chair designed by Pronto Socorro do Vidrio’s creative team from São Paulo, Brazil, makes a clear and ironic statement, of structure and estability.

This chair is created only by 3 parts and from 3 different materials: wood, taken from construction or demolition sites, a glass seat, and construction steel screws.

Each new piece is different from its previous ones because the wooden pieces they collect (pink mahogany or walnut mostly), have different textures and colors. The wood and steel screw give this piece a rustic appearance and contrasts perfectly with the elegant glass.

It also makes this chair, that is just part of a collection, a sustainable one; Since its wood and screws has been salvage from construction sites, and its glass as all glass could be 100% recycled.

Peter Donders, his a Belgian Designer that creates the most incredible pieces. He created the Shelly Chair, this is not just another pretty picture that only exists in the virtual reality of the internet, but it is an actual representation of real world object that I he created over the past years.

The Shely chair is made of aluminum materials cast in 1 piece in a 3D printed sand mould. The chair consists of only 1 single surface/shell with a minimum thickness of 8mm. It is like the ghost chair design, that have ever been published. This unique aluminum chair design is very unique and can decorate your modern living room design.
